Concept 53 was originally the name of a small web design & development company I created with the help of some friends, and the encouragement I received from my initial client base. Somewhere along the way, I grew less interested in the coding and more interested in the content - what was actually being said (and done) on the web. The company as a going concern died in late 2007 - I was no longer able to do justice to my clients’ needs while working a full-time job (though I still have some active web clients, they are pretty much self-maintaining) - but the interest in what was being said (and done) online continued to grow regardless. Now it exists as a blog about those things that interest the authors. Looking for someone to do your web work? I don’t take on clients with a requirement for 24/7 tech support, or those whose business I could not, in clear conscience, support and recommend myself. If you fall into either of those categories, I can make some recommendations.
The author list right now includes Rick, Joy, lizo_77, Sambosoul, Dave, DadOfAES, and therogueangel. Each author is responsible for their own content, including fact-checking, and their opinions are their own. More will be added, and more will be revealed.
